Frequently asked questions
How long does an order take?
Standard delivery is 5–10 business days from order. Our fastest option is Rush, delivered in 3 days. Your exact delivery date is calculated and shown at checkout.
Can I personalise every product?
Most products support text personalisation — a name, a date or a short message. Any product page that shows a 'Personalise' field is customisable. Products with fixed geometry (coasters, holders) are not.
What materials do you print with?
PLA (bio-based, food-safe) for most objects, PETG (tough, weather-safe) for items that get handled daily, and Resin for fine-detail pieces. Each product page lists the materials available for that piece.
Are your prints food-safe?
Products marked with the food-safe icon (like the Kids Stacking Blocks) are printed in food-safe PLA and hand-finished without any chemical sealants. Contact us if you need a food-contact certification for a specific piece.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship across the EU and the UK. Standard is €4.95, Express is €14.95, Rush is €24.95 — all-in, with tax calculated at checkout.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Email hello@madedear.com within 14 days with a photo and we'll reprint or refund — no questions. Because everything is made to order, we don't offer change-of-mind returns.
Can I upload my own 3D model?
Not yet — but it's on our roadmap. If you have a specific piece in mind, use the Contact page to start a bespoke commission conversation.
How do I care for a MadeDear object?
PLA and PETG pieces are safe with a soft damp cloth. Avoid dishwashers hotter than 50°C and direct sunlight above 60°C. Resin pieces are indoor-only.
