The studio
Objects made with care, at the scale of one.
MadeDear is a small independent studio that designs 3D-printed objects and prints them to order in-house. We started because so much of what fills modern homes is made in batches of 10,000 with none of them meant for you specifically. We make one thing at a time — the one you actually asked for, with the name, colour and material you chose.
What we believe
Customisation over batch
A gift with the right name on it beats a shelf full of the same object. We design for personalisation from the first sketch.
Quality over speed
Every piece is hand-finished before it ships — deburred, sanded, sealed. Print time is a floor, not a shortcut.
Made to order, not to stock
Nothing is warehoused. Nothing is landfilled. We print what you order, in the colour you chose, and ship.

The people
Meet the founders
MadeDear is the four of us — working in the same room, on the same bench, shipping every order ourselves.
Linda

What customers tell us
- Verified buyer
“The colour on the sample photo was slightly warmer than the piece I got, which I actually prefer. Sits well against light wood.”
Luca V.Milan, ITMay 2026 - Verified buyer
“Sent three photos of my rabbit from awkward angles. They came back and asked for one more from the side. Model turned out uncanny.”
Karolina W.Warsaw, PLFeb 2026 - Verified buyer
“Shipped to Texas from Europe in nine business days. Customs was pre-cleared, no surprise fees at the door.”
Ben O.Austin, USApr 2026 - Verified buyer
“I wanted a small figure of our first house, a weird narrow flat in Nørrebro, to give to my partner on our fifth anniversary. I uploaded four phone photos, got a preview I could turn around in the browser, asked for the roof line to be sharper, and they sent an updated model the next morning. It sits on our shelf now, about the size of my palm, in a warm off-white. It felt like commissioning something, not buying something.”
Ida M.Copenhagen, DKJun 2026 - Verified buyer
“Full transparency: I've been burnt by Etsy print shops before. Blurry photos, wrong scale, ship dates that slip by weeks. MadeDear gave a five-to-ten business day window and hit the earlier end. The piece is 87 grams, matte, and the details on the base are cleaner than the render suggested. I'll be back for the christening in October.”
Andreas S.Vienna, ATMar 2026 - Verified buyer
“Bought a small model of our late dog from a photo taken the week before we lost her. I was ready for it to be either brilliant or heartbreakingly wrong. They flagged the ear angle looked off and reshot it in software before printing. It came in a little cotton bag inside the box. I keep it by the kettle. Thank you for taking care with it. ❤️”
